TLDR: The company's dispatch and management are disorganized. They are good in one way: collect their annual contract fees. Oh yeah, they are also consistent in raising their annual contract prices every year.
Here's what happened:
We made an appointment way in advance (6 weeks) for annual maintenance .. on they day of the appointment they kept inserting other appointments ahead of us, didn't call to tell us about delays, when we called they said "oh yeah, there was another (!) emergency".
So
I was scared of an impossible bill. I understand these Air-conditioning things will or may cost an arm and/or a leg but I worry too much. I called PSE&G out initially but they were $250 just to come look at it but when they arrived they wouldn't touch it because it was partially under the back porch. So, I had to look for an HVAC and I got extremely lucky. The quoted me to come out and look $95 which was great. I just wanted to know what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. So I scheduled
I have been a Petro customer since 1990, my father-in-law worked for the company, and i have been a loyal customer, and also have my two daughters doing business with the company. The past two years I have seen a decline in the personal touch that the company use to have, more policies than ever before, trying to negotiate with them to lock in a price has been a challenge (almost like buying a car) and the empathy that you would expect from a business that serves the public would be more interes
