It is difficult to find a reliable and an effective repair service for a 15+ year old Bose Wave Radio / CD Player. Specificity and patience are important elements.

This was an interesting experience, trying to get an old Bose Wave radio repaired. After looking into several companies that deal with such units, USAV seemed to stand out, both in terms of experience as well as a reasonable price. So, after submitting an advance payment, mailed out the unit. However, not having read their shipping instructions carefully, chose USPS as the carrier, which they recommend against.
