Slade and his crew (and his wife, who Slade forced me to pay $4500 for her pretty worthless "design" services) remodeled our whole house, down to the studs, adding about 1k square feet. Once we signed the contract, the communication broke down. Slade was rude, confrontational and condescending. I have a list a mile long of problems during construction, but here are a few: he ordered windows for the entire house with grids, which we did not want.
