We talked with several contractors about replacing our 42-year-old 1500 square foot, cantilevered, wooden deck. Chris Craig was the only one who gave this major project serious consideration. (One contractor told us, incorrectly, that we wouldn't need a building permit. Another said he would do the job but would not give us a cost estimate.) Chris was easy to work with (along with the architect he recommended) and we came up with a design that looked good and met all current WUI and structur
