We contracted with Scherr in Feb 2026 to do tilework associated with our bathroom remodel. Garrett Barker was our sales rep. He was very pleasant to deal with, he listened to our needs, he offered good advice and alternatives that we hadn’t considered, and he followed up promptly. We LOVE Scherr!!! From the very start I could feel sincerity emanating from each employee. I called to get our bathroom redone, so that it would be safer for my mom who has Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. I requested a quote for a small fascia repair that would take about an hour to do (according to BGE and other companies I got quotes from). Scherr’s quote came back at $795. As the was extremely high, I asked them to re-evaluate, and said I could provide the materials myself. Despite that, this company only deducted $30 from the quote—while still charging $765 for labor alone. Even if the work took three times longer than expected, they are still quoting $255 per hour for handymen services. Av
