$275 dollars to not even properly diagnose whether or not they fixed the problem because the plumber was unable to read my meter ( not their fault but I was under the impression they'd return and this doesn't seem to be the case ). Echoing other reviews -- I wouldn't recommend Barnes Plumbing. They installed a sump pump battery backup in my house in November 2022 and it started beeping with an error message in December 2024. When someone from Barnes came out in January 2025, they said the battery was dead and should have lasted 5 years but they couldn't do anything about it because the manufacturer only had a 1 year warranty. Do not use MH Barnes for Heat Pump Hot Water Heaters. We had them install an AO Smith water heater 22 months ago. They had promised a unit with a 10 year warranty and delivered a unit with a six year warrantly. After six months the heat pump portion of it failed. They could not diagnose it.
