Absolutely despicable company. They will up charge you and add fees anywhere they can. If you want to have a horrible conversation with one of the most incompetent and obtuse people on this earth, call their number! I am genuinely sorry if this is the only propane provider that services your area. I recommend paying their bills with prepaid cards so they don’t try and charge your card 4 months after a refill never happened.

Years ago, Fred's surprised me by charging quite a bit extra to meet a new minimum fill even though I didn't receive those gallons. Had I known, I would have waited until there was enough room in the tank to meet it. It's a rarely used backup propane generator. Recently, aware of this minimum, I requested 200 gallons. The driver didn't read the note from dispatch and filled it up, so I was charged for an extra 125 gallons. They didn't send a bill, so I called and emailed several times. I f

Went to get my propane tank refilled last Friday. They said I would have to leave it there until someone was able to fill it. I called back later that day and it wasn’t filled. I waited until Monday to call back and they said they hadn’t filled it yet. The lady who answered the phone was rude about. So I ended up just picking the tank up and going somewhere else to get it filled. Very disappointed
