When you’re a doctor, you tend to trust the people you hire for non- doctor things like water heaters and plumbing issues, right? Not necessarily as knowledge is power! Unfortunately for me, I hired Hope Plumbing thinking they specialize in older homes, not so! Their technicians work strictly on commission and I was sold a bottom of the line water heater with a six year warranty on the water heater. . . but only a one year warranty for parts & labor…to The tune of $400/hr to replace the damage

Patrick and Cris, were very efficient and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what was going on with my system. They arranged another appointment to go over next steps to address problems.

I should start by saying they have been here many times for work and maintenance with no issues but my last 2 appointments that i have had scheduled (to maintain my water heater) they did not show or call. Both times I called them at the days end to find out if they were coming just to be told they are held up on another job. They need to do better on letting a customer know they are not coming. It feels like we got scammed. We were given a quote for $24,000 to replace our HVAC system, told it would be a heat pump unit with an electric heat backup and vent replacement, plus a new thermostat. We were also told that there was a financing deal for 5 years with 0-5% interest. We were then rushed through signing all the paperwork to realize later that we were given a 13% for 15 years deal, owing closer to $50,000. Fine, our fault for letting them rush us and trusting what they said instead
