water was getting into the basement and after a lot of back and forth trying to figure out the source turned out it was the stucco on the north side of the house. there were hairline cracks all over that i honestly never paid much attention to. Chicago Stucco Contractors came out to do an inspection and confirmed that moisture was penetrating through multiple spots. they ended up repairing all the cracked areas and recoating that entire wall. since then we havent had a single moisture issue down
