I hired Benjamin's Concrete & Landscaping, LLC to rebuild half of my back porch, including pouring a new concrete slab and reframing the structure. The contract clearly stated that he was responsible for obtaining a building permit, ensuring the work passed inspection, and properly closing the permit. Although the permit was eventually issued, no inspector ever visited the site, and there was no follow-up. As of today, the official public records have not been updated in months. Benjamin claims
