Buyer beware...they installed my solar panels 10 years ago and I am still having issues with them, specifically Lee Smith, and getting the proper paperwork submitted to my town for for sign off on my CO. I have already needed to pay out of pocket to extend my permit to avoid penalties and I now need to pay for someone to come and sign off on an Engineering Letter. My town has also tried to get the Letter from ASP, but Lee Smith has been given them the runaround.

I get at least 2 calls a day from their solicitor (I beleive from Pakastan) This is no way to gain business . It's invasive, rude & annoying. If I ever wanted to change solar companies, this would be my last choice.

I purchased a system off of them. A few years back I was looking to update it. They promised me they would look into it and help me right away. It has At least a year and a half.... of Patiently. .....calling them once a month and they still have done nothing for me . All of them at American Solar Partners Lee/ Arron/ and Richardo have lied to me and strung me along for over a year. Warning, they cannot be trusted and their promises are worthless. Very difficult to work with. House had solar panels already when we moved in. Trying to deal with this company has been a headache. Since early July we have been trying to get our solar up and running. Called several times over several weeks and tech finally came after 3 weeks. Diagnosed issue as broken inverter. Said he would under a new one under warranty and it should take 2 weeks for it to arrive then he would install it. Took about 5 weeks to come. Now that it is ready, been another month

This is the worst company that I have ever worked with. I took out a huge loan for a solar project and the inverter has broken twice in three years. Last Spring, the inverter broke for its second time but here we are in September and they still haven’t fixed it. Communication has been dismal (the company stopped answering my calls) and there has been zero urgency to get this fixed all summer, despite my best efforts. I have solar panels with them and when I got my electric bill for the month I noticed I was being charged for electric. I called Oscar their technician and he went above and beyond with service to fix my problem. I couldn’t be happier with ASP and I would recommend them for Solar panels.

Non stop calls

I wish I could give ASP zero stars. They did a good job installing my system because they hired a union electrician. The system broke down two times since it was installed. It took ASP months to correct the problems. I’ve been calling them since July to get them to repair a faulty installation problem that is still under warranty. It’s December now and it’s still not fixed. Their service is terrible!
