Final update: we relented and a second technician evaluated the issue. The igniter was too far away from the tube/valve. We were informed the first tech was still learning the trade. Despite the issue finally being fixed, a partial refund would have been preferred given the danger of the gas and the additional time it took for the issue to be resolved. Still do not recommend. The first well rated place never called back to schedule and the second's scheduling app wouldn't work. All City called to schedule within five minutes of submitting the request. They came out on Saturday even though I told them it could wait until the next work week. And there was no up charge for weekend work. The fixes were simple in both cases and the friendly and polite tech told me what I needed to do to avoid the issues in the future. All for $150 ($75 for each appliance). I will u
