I contacted Air Serv on 5/17 to service my inoperable unit. In short yes he attempted to upsale me to purchase a new unit, which I didn't fall for. My bigger issue is (1) they don't provide you anything in writing even after asking multiple times (2) I agreed to have them complete the repairs on my unit for a total of $1,300, minus the amount of the service call ($62). I'd been told my dryer vent pipe was broken under the house. When the need for a new dryer came up, I decided to have it checked out but I was clueless about who to call. A relative recommended I call Aire Serv. The techs, Amanda and DeAndre', were right on time, quickly determined the pipe was clogged (not broken - whew!), gave me a reasonable estimate and did the work that same day.
